As one of the MAYA Holding companies, Maya Mobilya ve Aksesuar Pazarlama A.Ş., signed the “Turkey Main Distributor and Franchise Agreement” with IKEA which holds the leading position in furniture and home accessories retail across the world, invested in the mass merchandising field, and presented an important world brand to the Turkish retail industry.

Having opened Turkey’s first IKEA store in Istanbul, Umraniye in May 2005, MAYA Mobilya ve Aksesuar Pazarlama A.Ş carries out its activities currently with a total of seven stores, three of them in Istanbul, one in Ankara, Izmir, Bursa, and Antalya; two “Order and Pick-up Points”, one in Bodrum and Adana, as well as its online store. IKEA stores offer the opportunity to reach more than 8,000 finely-designed, high-quality, and affordable products, millions of ideas, and smart solutions.

IKEA Turkey directly and indirectly employs roughly 5,500 people on a sales area of 200,000 square-meters.
